Highbury's Community Courses and Training can help you learn something new, take up a new hobby or improve your chances of finding work.
Community courses are available for groups and individuals, and take place at more than 50 community venues in and around Portsmouth, as well as Highbury College Centre.

We currently run courses at Day Care Centres, Libraries, Sport and Community Centres from Gosport to Waterlooville to Emsworth. Groups can be made up from staff, volunteers, carers, residents, friends and family. Anyone can join in.

Taster sessions let you try out a wide range of activities, including Computing, Digital Photography and Interview Skills. Other Tasters include family learning, volunteering and using the internet. We even offer Tasters in Japanese Braiding and Embroidery.

Taster sessions are fun and informal and are open to adults of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. All or our Community taster sessions are FREE.
Progression courses are also available.
