Minimum Qualifications

National or Higher National Diploma

Degree qualification in Graphic / Media Design Experience 

Some experience required of working for a creative or web design agency, although graduates with exceptional portfolios will be considered. 

Have at demonstrable track record in producing website interfaces, brochures, leaflets, newsletters. Exhibitions graphics a plus. 

Experience in developing user interfaces for mobile applications an advantage

Must be able to demonstrate experience in developing marketing material for medium to enterprise companies.

Experience in designing eCommerce websites is advantageous.

A current online and print portfolio for presentation will be required.

Skills Designing for Scree – understanding of the process of website development to deliver work to programming team 

Can show excellent understanding of usability best practice for website design.

Has a good understanding of the print production process and artwork preparation for printers 

Be self-motivated and well organised

Can organise a client brief

Must be able to work as part of a development team as well as independently

Effective self-management of time and prioritisation of work.

Required Software experience:

Adobe CS Studio: Photo Shop, Illustrator - advanced

InDesign Flash - intermediate

A core understanding of HTML and CSS is critical
